THE widow of Liverpool Football Club legend Bill Shankly has died after suffering a suspected heart attack.
Nessie Shankley collapsed at her home in West Derby yesterday and later died in hospital. Shankly, who managed Liverpool from 1960 to 1974, was accredited with transforming the side into one of the best in Europe.
