IS it a smile of victory? Or is it a grimace of despair? Members of the latest team to take part in the Bolton Evening News great Lancashire Quiz Challenge are pictured with their fingers on the buzzers at a recording which will be broadcast on BBC Radio Lancashire and Radio GMR later this summer.
The team from the King William pub, made up of three retired "gentlemen" and one computer expert took on a team from the Woodman Hotel, Burnley.
Retired teacher Mike Richards was joined by Paul Gradwell and Ted Green also retired, and computer whizz Pete Vickers who all regular feature in the Bolton Premier League and Bank Top Brewer Quiz League.
The quizmaster for all the shows is Bolton's own Norman Prince. Mike said: "It was a very enjoyable night.. Norman runs a good quiz and provides the entertainment."
