ELTON seem to have unearthed a great talent in young all-rounder Peter Lomax, who joined professional Chris Hall in steering them to a three-wicket win at Edgworth with a mature display.
The 17-year-old pitched in with two wickets as Hall's 5-29 reduced Edgworth to 136 all out off just 39.2 overs, despite a brave 103 from Faisal Ahmed preventing a compete collapse.
Elton then reached their target with three wickets to spare, with Hall scoring 42 and Lomax entering the innings further down the order but still knocking 31 not out to bring his side home.
