SAM Allardyce has spoken today about how he would just love to re-sign former striker Eidur Gudjohnsen.
The Chelsea star is on offer but Wanderers' cash restraints mean Allardyce can only dream of such a move.
He told the official web site - www.bwfc.co.uk : "I'd like to go out and buy Eidur Gudjohnsen for eight, ten of
twelve million because I know he'd be good value for money. He could virtually guarantee our Premiership status because of the 20 or so goals he'd score alongside Michael (Ricketts).
"It would perhaps even encourage Michael to get in the 20 mark as well. If you get that, then you are sound. £12 million would be nice if there was a golden fairy out there to leave a box in front of my door but unfortunately
I don't think it will happen.
"I would hope that we good get somebody before the transfer window on the 31 August. But I think it will be very difficult for me to clinch that top-line striker."
