TWO friends are in the middle of a 300-mile cycle ride, to raise money for a leukaemia research facility.
Caroline Holden, from Selside near Kendal, and Kath Finn, are cycling from Kendal to Carlisle and back, through some of Cumbria's prettiest routes.
Ms Holden's five-year-old daughter, Emily, has leukaemia -- her condition was diagnosed last year.
The money raised by the cycle ride will go to the Leukaemia Research Unit at Pendlebury.
