WHILE watching the Trooping of the Colour, I was surprised to see the RSM of the Scots Guards chewing gum, and, in the colour ceremony, he had great difficulty in un-sheathing his sword.
Then he stepped off with his right foot when it was by the left quick march. Then there was the officer on horseback, with his mouth wide open and his tongue lolling out, catching flies.
