RESIDENTS are rallying around to fight vandalism on their estate after a cry for help in the Bolton Evening News.
Residents from the Almond Estate, Farnworth, told how they were tired of vandalism and harassment by gangs of bored youths.
Now they are sending out more than 100 questionnaires as the first step to setting up an action group after finding out their neighbours feel the same way and want to take action.
The aims of the group will include clearing up vandalism and trying to find activities to divert young people away from crime.
Anyone interested in helping can contact the group on 0775 1031454.
