OLYMPIC bronze medallist Simon Archer has beaten injury to join England's Commonwealth Games' badminton squad at the Bolton Arena this month.
Archer -- from Worcestershire who enjoyed an enduring and successful men's doubles partnership with Bolton's Chris Hunt throughout the '90s -- is a late inclusion in the squad.
He will be hoping to reprise his success with Hertfordshire's Jo Goode. The duo were successful in the mixed doubles at Sydney, but both have had lengthy spells away from the game.
Donna Kellogg from Derbyshire, Leicestershire's Robert Blaire and James Anderson from Essex complete the final, impressive line-up for England.
