FIVE teams picked a 14-l shot in the big race at Goodwood for one of the best successes yet in the ever-popular Bolton Evening News Naps competition.
Bond Boy's win in the 3.50 was especially pleasing for Top 10 teams Albion Wood and Gear Shifters who closed in on the top spot.
Other Bond Boy winners were Slow Starters, MCC and Country Bumpkin, and this was the third week running a 14-l shot has been the biggest price.
First time winners this week were Bolton Mad Men (Royal Millenium, 4-1) and Sam's Bar (Where and When, 13-8).
But spare a thought for Paul's Piano. They can certainly pick winners - Massara in the 4.50 at Newmarket was their eighth of the season.
However, at 2-5 ON it pays 40p profit from the fictional £1 stake. They now lie in 68th place, showing a loss of £4.06p!
Top winning bets each week have been Falcon Hill at 11-1, Snow Shoes and Bindaree at 20-1, Florentine Flutter at 8-1, The Judge 12-1, Sarangani at a massive 33-1, Rock of Gibraltar 9-1 and Barrantes, again a big winner at 33-1, Hideaway Heroine 16-1, Just James at 20-1, 10-1 shot CD Flyer, Rudi's Pet at 16-1, Bond Boy 14-1, Capricho 20-1, Tedburrow 11-1, 40-1 shot Sun Bird, 25-1 Maycocks Bay, 14-1 Bon Marche, Crystal Castle at 14-1 and now Bond Boy 14-1.
