A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged with the murder of a Bolton father who died under the wheels of a freight train.
Liam John Charles, of Shakespeare Crescent, Droylsden, Denton, appeared at Tameside Magistrates Court.
He is charged with the murder of Trevor Hall, aged 33, of Firwood Grove, Tonge Moor, Bolton.
Father-of-one Mr Hall died from serious multiple injuries at Piccadilly Station in Manchester last Saturday.
Charles, aged 19, who works as a human resources manager, spoke only to confirm his name and address at the brief court hearing.
He sobbed as he was led away from the dock by security staff after the hearing.
No applications for bail were made. Charles was remanded in custody.
He will next appear at Manchester Crown Court on August 14 for a preliminary hearing.
