PRISONERS at Forest Bank prison have achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in recent GCSE examinations in Art, English, Maths and Spanish. Forty-two prisoners at the category B local prison in Salford are currently enjoying exam success.
The results include three A*s, nine As and ten Bs.
which places the prison's education department within the top 10 per cent of all educational establishments.
Debbie Nash, education manager at Forest Bank said: "These results prove that when prisoners are given the opportunity they can make the right choice and really benefit from their time in prison."
