A GRATEFUL family said an extra special thank-you today to the dedicated staff of a local nursery.
Mother and daughter Denise and Jodie Sewell nominated Heaton House Day Nursery in Chorley Old Road, Bolton for the Bolton Evening News' Bouquet of the Week.
Jodie's son, Callum, has been at Heaton House since it opened two-and-a-half years ago and is due to start school in September. She wanted to thank the staff for all their hard work and dedication. "This is a nursery of excellence," she explained in her nomination.
"There are hugs and kisses for every child when needed. The staff have been so helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. They have really given Callum a good start in life. This is a brilliant place for the children and there is always something for them to do.
"Swimming, trips to the park and even French lessons are just some of the activities provided for the children."
One member of staff said: "We are really going to miss Callum and all the children who will be leaving to go to school in September."
They were also delighted with the flowers, which came courtesy of Caroline Ward's flower and gift delivery service (0800-289-335).
You can nominate deserving local people by sending their details (including their daytime telephone number) to: BOUQUET OF THE WEEK, Angela Kelly, Features Dept, Bolton Evening News, Churchgate, Bolton BL1 1DE.
