TWO men and a youth were appearing in court today charged with the murder of a Manchester United fan who died as he made his way home from a match.

Glynn Ellis, from Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, died after becoming trapped beneath his own car following last week's Champions League match at Old Trafford.

Police said Paul Branchflower, aged 19, of no fixed address; Daniel Hulmes, 20, of College Road, Whalley Range; and a 17-year-old youth were due to appear before Salford Magistrates Court.
