THOUSANDS of Wanderers TV fans left without pictures for most of the final 20 minutes of the Aston Villa clash are similarly in the dark over a refund writes Chris Sudlow
When quizzed by the Bolton Evening News whether Sky TV's live Pay-For-View viewers would be receiving refunds after the pictures and commentary were lost a Sky TV spokesman said they were "looking into it."
Puib landlords had paid up to £50 to screen the match in and home viewers £5 to see the game from the comfort of their own armchairs.
The game came back on screens just before the end of the game.
A spokesman for Bolton Wanderers said the breakdown of the pay per view match coverage had nothing to do with them
"Sky have their own generators which they use to power their electrics and I believe their generators went down. I'm not sure what happened but they lost power."
A Sky TV spokesman said: "We had intermittent power problems. This was due to circumstances beyond our control. We are looking into it."
