DANCE act Paradise will be keeping their fingers crossed when their debut single, Rising Sun, is released in October.
Leigh barber Rob Grice and part-time DJ Stuart Connor, aged 30, have signed an album deal and are looking forward to seeing their music in the nation's shops.
The pair have been writing and producing dance tunes together for two years and recently put pen to paper on a lucrative deal with 50/50 Records.
The single has been played in the pubs and clubs of Leigh and on local radio stations including Key 103, Galaxy and Rock FM.
It features former Wigan and Leigh College student Kirsty McCormack, aged 18, on vocals and it will be used on the soundtrack for a forthcoming Brit flick Principles of Lust.
Rob, aged 31, who owns The Barber Shop on Chapel Street, Leigh, said: "If everyone in Leigh got behind us, we could do really well and enter into the charts at a good position."
