TWO men are due to be sentenced today after pleading guilty to their part in the death of an 11-year-old boy. Paul Mennie, from Rochdale, died last year after being hit by a car which failed to stop as he crossed the road.
John Dore, aged 31, from Wellfield, pleaded guilty last month at Minshull Street Crown Court, Manchester, to causing death by dangerous driving. Dore and Adil Hamid, aged 25, also pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice.
