A CAMPAIGN has been launched to help hospital staff recognise the signs of domestic violence.
Staff at Queens Park Hospital in Blackburn have been told that, nationally, on average, a woman is killed by a violent partner or ex-partner every three days.
A booklet launched today aims to raise awareness of issues surrounding domestic violence, to try and reduce the number of victims.
Medical staff are hoping the initiative will make a difference.
