BOLTON MP Brian Iddon is planning to join hundreds of people wearing their favourite football kit for Shelter later this month.
Strip 4 Shelter is the UK's largest annual football-focused fund-raising event, where people across the county wear their football strips, shirts or colours in return for a donation to homeless charity Shelter.
This year's theme is "you can help change a life in 90 minutes", and Brian Iddon has signed up to give 90 minutes of his salary to Shelter on September 20.
Dr Iddon said: "I am delighted to join in. It's a great event, and I know everyone is looking forward to showing off their support for their favourite team. I'm sure there will be a bit of friendly rivalry, but it will be good fun and is in aid of a really worthwhile cause."
