B.A.S. ANGLING are organising a Junior Fishing Match on Dixon Green Reservoir on Saturday, September 14.

New starters can enjoy match fishing and success should yield a prize with Britain's Aquatic Superstore, Highfield Angling Supplies, Sensas, Van Den Eyne, Preston Innovations and Farnworth Anglers supplying prizes and time. There are 24 pegs and free entry.

Carp shy at Holiday match

AT THE Shore Top A.C. Bank Holiday Match, there was a turn out of 20, but not a sign of a carp.

Bolton Anglers Association are organising two members-only matches (holders of Bolton Card) over the next few weeks.

The first is the Bolton Anglers Challenge Match on the Leeds Liverpool Canal at Street on September 15. Draw is at the Cross Guns Public house, cost £6.

The second Match is the Bolton Shield Match on September 22 on the River Weaver at Winsford.
