TENNIS players have been served a treat in Bury.
Bury Council has refurbished 13 tennis courts across the borough and they have plans for five more.
The work at St Mary's Park, Prestwich; Town's Meadow, Tottington; Nuttall Park, Ramsbottom; Close Park, Radcliffe and Whitehead Park in Bury, includes new fencing, highly visible court marking and heavy duty steel all-weather nets.
Cllr Paul Nesbit, recreation and sport spokesman for Bury, said: "The work has helped to reduce vandalism."
