WORKERS at a postal sorting office were evacuated for 90 minutes this morning after an X-ray machine detected two grenades in a package.
A security cordon was thrown around the building in Oldham Road, Manchester, and a bomb disposal squad was called in. The squad found that the grenades were safe and had been despatched by a military memorabilia firm.
