WE were delighted at this end of the "big duck pond" to watch Wanderers gain their first Premiership win of the season.
For the first time, we purchased a receiver capable of bringing in the game from the Rebook Stadium. It was a little frustrating that the last quarter the game was blacked out. A Villa friend who watched the game with us, thought that someone forgot to put the "shilling in the meter" to keep the power on at the park.
Immediately we turned to the Bolton Evening News web page and were able to read the results of the game.
We offer our congratulations to Big Sam and the team. Michael Ricketts' excellent penalty was worth the cost of the game alone.
We will be following the actions of our team each game on the telly and the digital receiver followed by the next days excellent game write up from Gordon Sharrock and the Bolton Evening News Sports team.
