ASTLEY Miners remain top of the Pioneer Sunday League Premier Division thanks to a 4-1 home victory against Willows. Goals coming from Fashou, Whitle, Allcock and Critchley.
Hulton Lane and Ellesmere had to settle for a 2-2 draw. On target for Lane, Rice and Barrett; Halliwell and Barrett replied for Ellesmere.
Spread Eagle went in front against Commercial from Craig, but in the second half Rusling levelled for Commercial only to let in Wes Gallagher to seal all three points for Spread.
Rigby Taylor are top of Division One after a 5-2 victory over Sharples. On target for Rigby Taylor was Jones (2), Walsh, Saunders and Cover.
White Horse and Railway played out a nine goal thriller. White Horse went into a 5-2 lead with goals from Gallagher (2), McTeigue, Clough and O'Rourke, but Railway hit back in the last 10 minutes with goals coming from Duncan, Fisher and Padgett. White held on to victory.
Faux Forest and Great Lever had to settle for a point each in a 2-2 draw.
FC Town picked up their first points of the season thanks to a 2-1 victory over ABC Van Hire, Charnock and Everett on target for Town.
