SHE is famous for being an IT girl and celebrity single mum -- and, well, just being famous.

She has also been a regular in the gossip columns for years.

But now Tamara Beckwith is making it into the fashion pages.

No, we are not talking about Tamara in a revealing outfit at another premier, but the blonde beauty doing some real work in the world of fashion.

She is seen here modelling the latest creations by Peter Golding -- one of Britain's most innovative designers who is celebrating his 25th anniversary -- and Tamara seems in her element in front of the camera.

Clearly the theme of this latest collection is tailored rock chic (could this have been inspired by Ms Beckwith herself?) yet this season the look has a soft and feminine touch, too.

Anyone who cannot live without their trusty pair of jeans will be pleased to know that denim is still important -- whether it is washed, tinted, braided, laced or "sueded".

Then there are corduroy, velvet and satin giving things a sophisticated twist.

Peter Golding's collection for the new season includes everything from suits to skirts, coats, belts and jackets.

The stripey top worn by Tamara Beckwith, right, is £50, her jeans are £75 and the jacket £85.

In her guise of biker chick, below, she is seen wearing a £60 bustier and £90 jeans.

Peter Golding is stocked by Quest in Shipgates and The Market Place, both Bolton, Demolition in Oldham and Nasty Clothing in Sale.
