A PILOT scheme to get more bookworms hooked on the library is under way in Little Hulton.
The library in Longshaw Drive now opens at 8.30am to tie in with the opening hours of the local shops and post office, and parents taking children to nearby primary schools.
It is part of a review by the Library Service and Salford Council to try to encourage more people to use the library by making opening hours more user-friendly. Sunday opening is also being considered.
