A BOLTON woman who had her car broken into twice late at night is saying a special thank you today to the local firm which rescued her.
Barbara Buckle nominated RAC Auto Windscreens, of Chorley Street, for the Bolton Evening News Bouquet of the Week.
Mrs Buckle said: "I had gone to a meeting in the town centre and when I came out my car had been broken into. My windscreen was broken for the second time in four months.
"I contacted this firm and nothing was too much trouble for them. The man on call met me at nearly midnight to make my car secure, and the following day they replaced the glass for me as this was not in stock the day before.
"They were really helpful and put me at my ease."
The firm were surprised and delighted to have the nomination, and the flowers from Caroline Ward's flower and gift delivery service (0800-289-335).
Send nominations for deserving local people, including their daytime telephone number, to: BOUQUET OF THE WEEK, Angela Kelly, Features Dept, Bolton Evening News, Churchgate, Bolton, BL1 1DE.
