I HAD an exquisite night at the Octagon theatre this week.
My first visit and, travelling from Blackpool, I thought I would experience difficulties finding my destination, but it was a straight run and well signposted, which easily led me to the multi-storey car park adjacent to the Octagon.
On entering the main theatre, I gasped at the uniqueness and conviviality awaiting me. A mixture of Royal Blue, delicate lighting and the subtle swing of the wonderful orchestra.
It must be the most comfortable theatre in the world.
The show was called The Rat Pack Confidential and, being a fan of Sinatra-Davis-Martin musical arrangements, it became a feast of entertainment which the audience and I relished three encores and well deserved, they gave their all.
Thank you, Ratpack Confidential, and thank you Octagon, I shall come again soon.
