AS November 5 looms up once again, new laws at this time are rather late, as the "boomers" started in September.

On going into a newsagents at the beginning of September, asking about fireworks, I was informed they were on sale all through the year (new laws needed here!). Is it any wonder "the plot" lasts for six weeks! I am not against fireworks used in the right circumstances, but I object to sedating my terrified pets from these "booms" for six weeks. Bangers should be banned, as we suffered enough in the Second World War.
