BOLTON Golf Association champions Deane were shown little mercy when they played an annual challenge match.
Deane took on the BGA but only two of their 12 players were successful as they crashed to a 10-1 defeat.

Dunscar duo Stephen Greenough and Mark Riley braved driving rain for the second round of the International Pairs final but their overall score of 60 points left them out of the prizes.
They won their club event to qualify for the semi-finals in Dublin in the summer, where the pairs will include three from local clubs. Success over the CityWest course earned them a final spot at Mount Wolseley in County Carlow, Ireland, where the competition was tremendous with the winners notching up an impressive 79 points.
Dunscar's Last Post four ball stableford was won by Steve and Nigel Hulme with 47 points from Frank Birtwistle and Mick Hayes 46 points and R Bannister and Graham Arstall 46 points.
