I WOULD just like to thank "Brian", your regular contributor (everyone knows who I mean), for his comments on the ongoing situation on Paulhan Street.
The elderly lady and her son have now moved out, the house boarded up (yet another one). Nice people won't stay.
Yet more children to join the rest in throwing stones at windows, ripping shrubs to sheds, walking on privets etc. There is no end to it, it is not isolated incidents, but what use is it complaining? All under the watchful eye of CCTV, and I thought I would be safe.
If the weather is fine, I know I face another barrage. What a way to live.
I have asked them why, what had I done to them? The answer I got "get off the street you ugly cow". Nice isn't it? It only made them worse anyway, they were aged nine to 14 approximately.
The Neighbourhood Watch walk round -- and guess what, everyone disappears, only to come out again when they are gone. Same when the police are at Sure Start, nice and quiet.
I have lost count of the lovely neighbours we have lost through all this, only to be replaced by people who couldn't care less what their children are up to, and who also abuse the property they live in. I am so sick of it all.
I just wanted to thank Brian for caring.
