ART lovers are most certainly sold on Bolton Museum and Art Gallery's latest exhibition.
So much so that six works of art from the Net:work exhibition have been bought by visitors. The exhibition features paintings, sculpture and prints by 16 contemporary artists and art buyers have been particularly attracted by the work of Mari Takafuji and Chris Rigby. Mari's beautifully poetic watercolours were snapped up shortly after the exhibition opened its doors. Likewise, Chris's very different but equally atmospheric impressions of the subway s and environment of Carnforth Railway Station drew the attention of a number of collectors.
The exhibition runs until November 2 so there is still plenty of time for art enthusiasts to take a look at the varied selection of artwork for themselves.
