EXCLUSIVE by David Crookes: POP star hopeful Lynsey Brown is considering embarking on a career as a television presenter.
Since being voted off ITV's Popstars -- The Rivals, the 20-year-old has been in contact with agents and managers.
And, although she is not cutting herself off from the pop world, she has not ruled out fronting TV shows either.
Lynsey said she would "consider her options" over the next week or so.
She also plans to chat to her old friend, Sarah Whatmore, a fellow ex-pupil at St George's High School, Little Hulton. Sarah recently shot to number six in the charts following success on television's Pop Idol.
Lynsey said: "Popstars was the first audition I had been to.
"It put me on a platform that I never dreamt possible and I want to build on that.
"I'm not ruling anything out. I'd love to be a television presenter. I'd also love to be in a band." The Little Hulton student, who works part-time as a sales assistant at Boots, became the first girl to be knocked out of the ITV1 talent contest after singing Lisa Stansfield's hit All Around the World.
She had battled through to the final despite suffering from a sore throat.
