Wanderers are tonight hoping for a double fitness boost with a return to action for Paul Warhurst and Bruno N'Gotty in the reserves game at Birmingham.

After five Premiership games without a win - conceding 11 goals in the process - Wanderers have defensive concerns.

And a comeback for the French defender from his calf injury, and the tough-tackling midfielder, who has been dogged by hamstring troubles, would be welcome news before the crunch Premiership games with Sunderland, Birmingham and West Brom.

Warhurst featured for the reserves in the game with Leeds last week, and although he travelled with the squad to Spurs on Sunday he was not deemed fit enough to play.

He has been helped in his recovery by Wanderers' Chinese Doctor of Medicine, Dr Jon Brazier.

Warhurst says: "Jon's introduction has brought no complaints from the lads, and he has been helping out.

"If we have a muscular problem the club physio refers us to Jon who then checks out our circulation, nerve system and body balance.

"Personally I've used the Oriental method several times this season already and I've been happy to let Jon do a bit of body balancing and acupuncture to make me feel better."
