A FAMILIAR voice to Bolton music lovers will entertain at the second in the series of lunchtime concerts at St Andrew and St George United Reformed Church on Thursday.
Soprano Pamela Heywood-Connor will take centre stage, accompanied by Jacqueline Tinniswood on piano, at the church on St Georges Road, Bolton, from 12.45pm.
Pamela began her singing career with the Bolton Operatic Society and Opera 74. She has performed throughout the North-west in numerous roles including Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, Magnolia in Showboat, Eliza Doolittle, Carmen and Ginletta.
Jacqueline has performed concertos by Beethoven, Liszt, Gershwin and Lambert with North-west Orchestras including the Bolton Symphony Orchestra. She also works as a visiting woodwind tutor at Canon Slade School and is musical director of Bolton Youth Choir.
The couple will perform songs by Puccini, Schumann and Noel Coward. Light lunches are available before the concert from noon.
