LEIGH Grand Final stars Andrew Isherwood and John Roper have been banned for a total of eight matches after being found guilty of foul play in the defeat by Huddersfield.
Second row forward Isherwood, now with Widnes, was suspended for five matches and fined £150 for a deliberate attack to the head of opponent Rob Roberts.
Centre Roper was banned for three games and fined £100 for a deliberate high tackle on his opposite number Graeme Hallas.
The suspensions will be carried over into the start of next season.
