SANGRIA and paella will be the order of the day at a special event to celebrate Spanish culture at a town centre restaurant.
La Tasca, on Bradshawgate, will be holding a Fiesta Day from 3pm today (Thursday), when passersby can pop in and sample the food and lifestyle of the Mediterranean country
Staff at the restaurant will be dressing in matador and flamenco outfits while raising money for children's charity El Nino.
The organisation, based at a working farm on Taylor's Lane, Radcliffe, helps children learn new skills and gain confidence with the help of animals.
William Moxey, general manager at La Tasca, will also be inviting members of the public to throw tomatoes at him while in a set of stocks. He will also be riding a horse along Bradshawgate in full Spanish costume.
