BRUNO N'Gotty is in contention to feature in Wanderers' clash with Sunderland after playing the first half of the reserves' game with Birmingham last night.
The French defender came through 45 minutes unscathed and could now return to first team action in time for the crunch Premiership game at the Reebok Stadium on Monday, which took on even greater significance last night as West Ham moved away from the trouble zone with a win over Fulham.
N'Gotty has been missing with a calf injury since the game with Aston Villa on September 1 - the only time Wanderers have achieved victory at the Reebok this season.
The Wanderers reserve side took their first point of the campaign with a 1-1 draw, thanks to a spectacular equaliser from Nigerian World Cup star Jay-Jay Okocha.
Further good news for Sam Allardyce is that Paul Warhurst continued his recovery from a hamstring injury, while Stig Tofting also began the game at Solihull Borough.
Delroy Facey, the striker who joined from Huddersfield in the summer, started the match on the bench after an extended spell out with a virus.
