GOVERNMENT intervention is inevitable if landlords do not wise up to the voluntary Code for Commercial leases, warns Mike Ousbey from Manchester real estate company DTZ Debenham Tie Leung.

"The Government is waiting to see evidence of the voluntary code working before it considers legislation but if it does not see the evidence then legislation will follow."
