The Smash Hits tour is nearly upon us and that is no small thing considering that yours truly is travelling around the country with the tour! Sunday, of course, is Manchester's turn and what a show it is likely to be.
As I mentioned last week, there are a sprinkling of stars from Samantha Mumba and Danni Minogue to the Sugababes and Darius taking part, so it looks set to be a huge success.
It is a busy one for me this weekend as I'm DJ'ing at Ikon this evening so I shan't get any beauty sleep then either! And, before the Smash Hits tour even gets underway I'll be back on air with the Smash Hits chart on Saturday morning. Ah well, as they say, it's a dirty job but someone's got to do it!
AS well as supporting the Smash hits tour, Key 103 are also doing a little bit of work for chariddee, which should particularly appeal to the football lovers out there.
Whether you support a huge team or a group of underdogs it doesn't matter. Our Get The City United (Can you see what we've done there?) fund-raising event takes place on November 8, and we are asking workers from all over the North-west to take part by wearing your favourite football shirt and donating a pound to charity, with all the proceeds going to underprivileged children.
It's a bit like non-uniform day at school, remember those?
Well, if you fancy going footy mad in the name of a good cause, get in touch with Harriet Stranks on 0161 288 5065 to request a form.
And if I don't see you tonight at Ikon (and quite frankly, I can't see why not) I'll see you back here next week!
