A 23-YEAR-OLD man was critically injured after being stabbed on the doorstep of his home.
The man, who has not yet been named by police, was involved in an incident in Hereford Road, Blackburn, around 8pm yesterday.
His girlfriend alerted the police and ambulance services. The man was taken into surgery at Blackburn Royal Infirmary with a ruptured stomach and spleen.
He was critical but stable in hospital today after undergoing surgery for stab wounds.
Three males, aged 16, 17 and 18, have been arrested but have not yet been questioned. The injured man was due to be spoken to by police today.
