MARCONI has now produced 1,000 BT interactive payphones at its Interactive Systems division in Chorley.
Production of Neptune 800 web phones is part of a five-year contract with BT.
Firms warned over new laws
THE head of employment law at Brabners Chaffe Street, Mr Paul Chamberlain, is warning that a new raft of rules introduced in the Employment Act 2002 could swamp companies without specialist support.
Mr Chamberlain says complex and detailed regulation surrounding issues such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, flexible working rights, increased maternity and paternity benefits and fixed term contracts are placing a disproportionate burden on small businesses.
