DB3 maintained top position in the BSF Netball League Division One with a well fought 26-16 win over Chequers, the margin could have been greater but for excellent defensive work by the losers.

A Robert Shaw win keeps them in second, with IJ Webb moving third in a good close game with bottom place Originals.

Something had to give in a top of the table clash in Division Two. Both with 100 per cent records, Sharples just lost out to Walkden 26-27, keeping Walkden on top. High Spirits moved second winning a close game with Eagley Sports 30-28.

In the the only match in Division Three, Dreams & Drapes kept their 100 per cent record in tact and go top with a good win over Wakden B, who drop to second.

High scoring BIHE Ladies stay top of Division Four, keeping their 100 per cent record against third placed Redskins. Russell & Russell stay second with a big 36-16 win over fourth placed Healey Karwat.

In Division Five Belmont stay top with a win over Steelers. Tyldesley having the only other 100 per cent in this division stay third after their game was postponed.

Sharples Yellow made it six wins out of six in Division Six to stay top, with high scoring Hough Fold Ladies and Smithills B, going second and third respectively.
