CHORLEY golfer Nicola Ford began her quest for the prestigious Daily Telegraph/Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Junior Golf Competition at Sun City, South Africa today.
The 17-year-old, who plays at Shaw Hill, qualified second for the competition after a one-under-par 73 at the Southport and Ainsdale qualifier earlier this year.
Ford plays off five. There are nine girls and 12 boys competing for the title formerly won by Justin Rose and Rebecca Hudson.
The competition lasts for three days.
