Ordinary people can think just as shrewdly as those who live and work in the heaven of the BBC -- where it is not pennies from heaven that some folk are paid, but millions.

On reading an article in one of the morning papers about the sex life of Angus Deayton, it transpired he receives £50,000 per week for "Have I Got News for You".
Well, have I got news for those who run the BBC. Our firefighters receive about £21,000 per year, putting their lives at risk. All they are asking for is three-fifths of what Mr Deayton receives weekly -- and this is for a year's wages.
We, the working classes of this country, have always had to carry the burden of the privileged on our shoulders. Never more so than today under this Blair government.
