CHORLEY golfer Nicola Ford lies in fifth place at the Daily Telegraph/Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Junior Golf Championship in Sun City, South Africa.
The 17-year old shot a 79 and lies 10 strokes behind leader Steph Evans, who got round in an incredible two-under-par 69.
Ford plays off five. There are nine girls and 12 boys competing for the title formerly won by Justin Rose and Rebecca Hudson.
The competition was set to continue today and tomorrow.
