TODAY'S Bolton Evening News contains no news stories or any other editorial work, because of industrial action by members of the National Union of Journalists in support of their claim for improvements to a house agreement which if conceded would be in breach of the Government's pay guide lines. Because of this we have decided that today's paper, which contains your normal advertising service, should be free with our compliments.
