MARCO Players' next production must be well worth a visit . . . particularly when two cast members are dedicated enough to commute to rehearsals from as far afield as London.
The theatre company is presenting A Few Good Men by Aaron Sorkin at the Chorley Old Road Methodist Community Church from November 6 to 9.
Rehearsals are well underway, and among the 17-strong cast are two members commuting to rehearse and perform. Mark Roberts lives in Bradford and Paul Kirkbright comes from London.
The cast comprises 16 men and one woman. The remaining cast members are: Jason Crompton, Natalie Kirkbright, Alan MacPherson, Martin Pearce, John O'Connell, Peter Haslam, Robin Thompson, Chris Irish, Steven Poulsom, Gareth Balshaw, Brendan Higgins, David Poulsom, David Holt, Stephen Maslivec and Michael Hodgson.
One man is dead . . . two are accused of murder . . . The entire Marine Corps is on trial and A Few Good Men are about to ignite the most explosive episode in US military history.
Aaron Sorkin's powerful drama is a gripping account of corruption, cover-up and a relentless quest for justice within the sacred corridors of the US Navy.
Tickets are £5 with concessions £4, available from 840824 or 848935. Performances start at 7.30pm.
