COUPLES in the North-west are 13 times more likely to argue about politics compared with the UK average, according to research.

A study carried out by online dating agency Cybersuitors.com also found that the region's women are five times more likely to disapprove of their partner smoking.

Research was carried out as Cybersuitors.com developed a Compatibility Quotient Test to scientifically measure couple compatibility. Based on answers to 25 questions the website aims to match couples who feel almost identically about key areas.
