TEENAGERS will become world leaders for the day when they debate politics at a mock United Nations general assembly.
The Bolton branch of the UNA has organised the event which will involve the sixth formers assuming the role of delegations from different countries.
This year they will be debating Palestine and Iraq as well as working on committee resolutions on refugees, water, HIV and AIDS.
Sixth formers from Canon Slade and Rivington and Blackrod schools will join young people from schools all over the country for the debate which will be held at the town hall next Wednesday (November 6).
