Mayor joins birthday party
THE Mayor of Bolton will be helping Scope celebrate its 50th birthday. Cllr John Walsh will cut a cake at the charity's shop in Great Moor Street on Thursday at 11.30am to celebrate Scope's five decades of working with people with cerebral palsy.
The staff want shoppers to come along to enjoy some cake, find out more about Scope, make a donation and pick up a bargain. The cake cutting will be done at the same time at Scope's other shops around the country.
